Hotel Portofino, Rapallo

I absolutely loved my time at this hotel! The owner, Stefania, was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to help us, even making breakfast for us at 5 AM. The rooms were spacious and offered a beautiful view of the canal, making the slightly higher price worth it. The only downside is that I wish we could have stayed longer—just one night felt too short.

I had a pleasant stay at the Hotel Portofino, where the comfortable rooms exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed the rooftop terrace for afternoon drinks and found the staff exceptionally helpful. However, the bathroom was quite small and noisy, which detracted a bit from the overall experience. The breakfast was excellent for the price, but Wi-Fi was a weak point. Overall, it’s a great value for money in a good location near the train station.
